Shot Monday, March 30, 2015 in San Francisco, California with bay area aspiring model Nadia Pignataro. We began the day with an inside shoot using natural light and ventured out to the (super blown up) parking garage on Stockton. Snapped a few shots of Nadia right before the wind blew her hat off into a tree, explaining the title "Fly Away".

Midnight performance in Union Square by local instrumental group. A couple dances as the crowd cheers for them.

On Embarcadero Street former Levi's building is being demolished where there will be a an apple store put in place of it.

Captured a shot of my friend Chris Muzar climbing a stairwell on the side of a unmentioned location.
Last stop of the night was the Stockton tunnel where we shot models Tiffany and Rochelle until 2 am.

Photojournalism Project 1
My first assignment for my photojournalism class at SFSU was on shutter
speed. The top photo captured at Twin Peaks has a focused background while the
subjects are in motion caused by a shutter speed of 20 seconds on a tripod;
this photo demonstrates blur. The second photo is baby Nia at Delores Park
being pushed on a swing by her mother. This is a freeze photo, capturing the
motion in a still shot with a shutter of 1/250 of a second. The third and last
photo was taken in the Castro District with the man in the middle being the
center of attention. I attempted to "pan" by setting my cameras
shutter at 1/6 of a second and moving with the direction of my subject.
